Our summary
ISO 37001 sets out the requirements for an anti-bribery management system: the policies, controls and oversight an organisation needs to prevent, detect and respond to bribery. Organisations can be independently certified against it.
It covers areas such as leadership commitment, bribery risk assessment, due diligence on business associates, gifts and hospitality, financial and non-financial controls, and raising concerns.
How auditors use it: as a benchmark when auditing an anti-bribery or third-party program. Check the ISO page for the current edition.
